The Beatles Story is a leading visitor attraction based in a prime location, on the Albert Dock in Liverpool. The exhibition tells the story of the people and tales behind the iconic four that were The Beatles, detailing behind the scenes aspects of their lives, times, and music in an exciting and immersive way.

As The Beatles Story were working on a new white-label ticketing system and hardware overhaul they required a new website to work alongside this, in order to create a modern and fun platform that truly reflected the experience of this amazing attraction.

The new website needed to work harder for them. Goals included increasing their visibility, interactivity, bookings and conversion rates. They also needed to modernise the online presence of their core product and ancillary products in order to portray the in-person experience of the exhibition to their online audiences.

Ultimate worked with The Beatles Story team to create an interactive, user-first website that truly brings the excitement of the exhibition to their online audience. As a website that needs to reach a wide range of audiences, we created a website with the flexibility to grow with them.

The Beatles are such an iconic band, and a brand in their own right. However, there were a lot of limitations in the illustrations, images and artwork that could be included on the website. For this reason, Ultimate’s designers worked their magic to create bespoke styles and graphics to really showcase the look and feel of The Beatles Story. We created a unique style that The Beatles Story team could reflect not just on the website but across their other digital platforms too.
