This truly amazing national charity helps children and young adults with the most complex needs, and also supports their families. Seashell enables children and young adults to be more independent and live safe, creative and fulfilling lives. Formerly The Seashell Trust the charity were looking to rebrand to “Seashell” in pursuit of a  simpler, fresher and more memorable approach to connect everything they do and to fully reflect who they are and where they were heading.


A new brand for multiple services

The new Seashell brand needed to encapsulate many services and facilities from the specialist education at their schools and colleges to how they support young people and adults through residential care, therapy and nursing services. The Seashell team works incredibly hard helping and enabling students to learn how to express themselves and engage in the world around them. In addition to this, as a national charity Seashell needed to connect with audiences to inspire fundraising, donations, volunteering and support.


Capturing the vibrant spirit

The rebrand Ultimate created heroes a new brand identity that combines a soft, caring and very human typeface that works together with vibrant illustrative graphics and colour. Everything Seashell does feels connected to their core values: integrity, innovation and involvement. This brand was designed to capture energy, the arts, creativity, communication and the vibrant Spirit of Seashell that is present across its schools, colleges and residential care. It’s this spirit that connects every employee, each young person and their families and genuinely makes Seashell a place like no other.
