An icon of the photography space, Ilford – now trading under Harman Technology – have been trailblazers in the industry since 1879.

Most famous is their camera film, which has been made in Mobberley, Ilford, since 1928 – where it is still produced to this day.

Now, Ilford is still beloved by film photographers – offering everything from rolls to developing chemicals to cameras.

Product photography

We were thrilled to work with Ilford to photograph their entire range of camera film in our professional studio.

Working with the team, we pitched initial moodboards with the energy we wanted to capture, before planning and executing the shoot with live art direction on the day.

Product branding

We often partner with Ilford-Harman to design and artwork any new packaging for their films. In 2024, we supported Harman with the launch of Phoenix, their first-ever colour film – a bold step for a brand best known for black and white photography.

We worked closely with the team to develop a distinct visual identity that would set Phoenix apart within the existing range. This included designing the packaging and producing a suite of marketing materials to support the launch.

Creative campaigns

In 2024, we also helped Ilford launch limited edition retro packaging to celebrate 145 years of their iconic films.

Designed by our in-house team, the 1950s-inspired cartons and cassettes were based on the colours and style of HP3 and FP3 packaging – the early pre-cursors to the current FP4+ and HP5+ films.

You can still snap up your very own boxes on eBay, if you’re lucky!

The Ilford team are often on the road to showcase their fantastic range of products to film photographers across the country. We’ve helped out with countless exhibition banners, stands, and counters to help their range shine.
