What is Cure Leukaemia?

Cure Leukaemia is a national charity dedicated to funding pioneering clinical trials, working towards a future where leukaemia is cured.

These clinical trials have already saved the lives of both adults and children living with blood cancer.

Alongside driving this vital research, the team provides support to patients and their families, while also focusing on education and raising awareness of the disease.

Club 10

We’re very proud to have joined Club 10 — Cure Leukaemia’s national business network, backed by charity patron Gary Lineker OBE.

Club 10 brings together regional businesses to fund the ATICUS Paediatric Transplant Trials Network. The programme, delivered across eleven leading children’s hospitals – including Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital – gives young patients access to pioneering treatments that would otherwise be out of reach.

The network requires £1 million annually to operate, and the help of local businesses plays a vital role in sustaining its work.

Why Cure Leukaemia?

Worldwide, someone is diagnosed with blood cancer every 27 seconds. Here in the UK, that’s 10,000 people a year, and the most common cancer diagnosed in children. It really is vital that we find a cure.

Our founder Matt first teamed up with Cure Leukaemia in 2021 when he cycled the full Tour de France route as part of the Tour 21 challenge, helping raise over £1 million.

The team’s passion is electric, and their strong ties to Manchester Children’s Hospital bring their efforts even closer to home. From meeting clinicians, patients, and families here in our very own city, we couldn’t be prouder to be supporting Cure Leukaemia’s vital work.

Past events

Christmas concert

In December, we hosted a Christmas concert event at our Campfield HQ.

Our Brand and Partnerships manager Nat — a professional singer in her spare time! — took to the stage alongside fellow artist GoodboyAngie. We paired the show with a charity raffle and bake sale — with festive mince pies a given!

The event raised £662 for Cure Leukaemia.

London 2 Paris Cyclists

London to Paris 2025

Only slightly more impressive than Christmas carolling, our founder Matt cycled a whopping 300 miles from London to Paris!

The journey spanned four days, setting off from Greenwich Park on Thursday 5th June, travelling through the Pas de Calais and Somme, before dismounting at the Eiffel Tower on Sunday 8th.

The sore calves were worth it, as Matt raised an incredible £2,195!

We’d say he certainly earned a croissant or two.

  • We couldn’t be more proud to support Club 10. When leukaemia is cured, we’ll be able to say we were part of that fight. We hope we can inspire other Greater Manchester businesses to step up and get involved!”
